Fansa Koné stand

Welcome to my website!

I am a PhD Candidate in Economics at University of Montreal and a member of CIREQ. My research area is macroeconomics and International Trade.

I study how governments can use fiscal rules to manage Public Debt, achieve sustainable Economic Growth, and improve citizens' Welfare in environments where economics and politics interact. Additionally, I am interested in how trade transmits shocks across countries and their macroeconomic implications for monetary policy.

Before my PhD, I obtained an MSc in Economics and Statistics at ENSEA which equipped me with strong quantitative skills for working with different types of data.
